Jessica is a born and raised Charleston native who is a true Southern Girl with her love for the beach, sweet tea, grits, fried chicken and fishing! She always knew she had a passion for physical therapy and pursued her degree as a physical therapy assistant. Jessica has been a physical therapy assistant for over two years. In Jessica's free time she likes traveling and spending time with her family and her six-year old, best friend lab, Mako.
Mark was a US Navy hospital Corpsmen for 6 years and then graduated from Shenandoah University in Winchester, VA in 1993 with his Master's in Physical Therapy. Mark has close to 30 years of Physical Therapy experience in all settings with a focus on Manual Therapy and one-on-one patient care. He moved to the Lowcountry this past October from West Virginia with his wife Marcia. They enjoy the beach, camping, hiking, kyaking and relaxing on their back deck with their dog, Lucy.
Lisa works primarily at the Johns Island location. Hailing from Northern Virginia, she attended Virginia Tech and received her Bachelors in Human Nutrition, Food and Exercise. She went on to receive her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina. Outside of work, she enjoys going to the beach and is looking forward to warmer weather to be able to go scuba diving.
Andrea can be found at our Johns Island location. Originally from Greensboro NC, she attended the College of Charleston and received her Bachelors in Exercise Science. She went on to receive her Masters of Science and Rehabilitation from the Medical University of South Carolina for Physical Therapy. Outside of work she stays active by trying to keep up with her 3 young boys.
Derek is the owner and a therapist himself. He is currently splitting his time between the Summerville and Johns Island offices, but you never know where he might pop up! A Charleston native, he received his Bachelors in English at Queens College. He went on to receive his Masters of Science and Rehabilitation from the Medical University of South Carolina for Physical Therapy. He enjoys playing golf and soccer. He and his wife also keep busy with their two boys.
